Vino was first opened by Bruce Bauer in 1999. Bruce's gifts for sourcing value-priced wines and fostering a welcoming environment led to the creation of a dedicated group of customers, which soon became a community.

When Bruce started considering retirement, he asked Scott Love if there was any interest in taking over the shop. Scott has been a wine sales rep in the Portland area for 16 years, 11 of those as a rep selling to Bruce and Vino, so he is well-placed to step into the world of wine retail.

Our Friday Flights are legendary - each Friday we offer a flight of 5 (generous) tasting pours along with some additional bonus pours. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks or pick up dinner from one of our many restaurant and food cart neighbors. We provide plates, cutlery, a convivial atmosphere and some great wine deals!

Vino is your spot for pre-dinner drinks, a glass of wine on the way home from work, a Friday evening tasting, or a bottle (or several) to enjoy at home.
