New(ish) Wines We Love February 2025

I brought this sexy beast in for Valentines but the weather had other plans. This Bugey-Cerdon in a blend of Gamay and Poulsard fermented to 8% ABV that gives this sparkling rose a creaminess that is backed up by pretty red fruits $28

The 2024 Giovanni from Cameron tastes like “spring” in a bottle. This early-release Pinot Blanc tastes like bitting into a ripe pear - we could all use a taste of spring right about now $21

Nanclares y Prieto 'Dandelion' Albariño Rías Baixas DO 2023 is a real stunner from Spain’s Northwest. Beautifully mineral and balanced between an inviting texture and structuring acidity, its salty grilled peach and honeysuckle flavors make for a very satisfying mouthful $30

Lizzy Esqueda was kind enough to drop off her Mijita Zenith Crown Pinot Noir 2022 (and Pinot Gris and Cabernet Franc) last week. The Pinot is 100% Pommard planted over 20 years ago in Eola-Amity. Bright, crushed red/blue fruits with super yum baking spice, savory notes from the whole cluster $38
